lol

Conspiracy theory...
Right now most folks using heating oil order early or have a plan...So, automatically the cost gets paid. Bonus.
Also, people are coming and going from vacations, holidays, and kids are going to schools...Big Bonus.
Cashing in on what they think are dumbsheep, us? Ya think?
Damn...

Way too fucking hi, CA of course the worst !

We need to drill alaska and where ever else, be self suffcient and screw them Arab basterds, they have more than enough oil and everyone knows it.
We need to start drilling in our own Country and while we do this to take care of our own we need to start funding more into the hybrid cars and get this going full blown so we can say screw oil for the most part, and as well look into the diesel engine which can be ran on Vegetable oil, (check it out at http://www.vegpoweredsystems.com ) its amazing! Oil companies have way too much power, its scary, but I think they are begginig to slowly loose it.
Or we could boycott driving and force companies to shorten hours because we have to find alternative transportation, maybe back to horse and carrige, seems they never had this problem then, ya technology is doing us so right, what a fucken joke !

Landshark is right about vegie oil. Two things -
1. Doctor Diesel actually invented his motor to run on vegetable oil. The oil companies had to find a way to make their fuel compatable to his motor ... or face competition.
2. Vegitable oil is not taking carbon locked away in the Earth's crust for millions of years and releasing it in a very short time. The carbon that it releases should cycle back into more oil producing plants.

Oh what the heck 3. Australia and the USA could have most probably signed the Kyoto Protocol if they had embraced vegitable oil fuel technology 10 to 15 years ago. It is never too late but the "makers and shakers" are tooled up for oil and so what about global warming ... they can afford airconditioning.

Lobby, enrole to vote ... make your political representative aware that you know and care ... if nothing else, it is great to see the pale look come over their face when you ask where they stand on fossil fuels and global warming.

PS
In Oz we call our old folks who have retired, bought the decked out bus and now travel the land spending the inheritance "Snowbirds" ... When it snows (or might .... doesn't often do that here) they leave. Some of the Snowbirds are running their diesel buses on vegitable oil. the bus smells like a fish and chip shop as it goes past. The New South Wales Police have been stopping them and giving them tickets for evading road tax (levied through fuel prices ... they say). A big BOOOOO to the New South Wales Police.

It's been a steady 2.75 here for about a week,LOL. I just don't see how they expect people to afford to even go to work at times. Chances are if you do not make a very good wage you either own an older car or can't afford to keep it as efficient as you should. It is very sad for people with families who have to have all the stress of feeding their family, paying bills and keeping a roof over their heads. I am even reading that people are getting so desparate that they feel they have to steal gasoline!! I was chatting with someone who mentioned GNC cars that run on Natural gas. He says it averages 89cents per gallon.

Gas reached $2.99 here in Toledo this afternoon. So very scary.I never let my tank get down past half so it doesn't cost as much but it's still bad.
