Lowest $2.65, highest $3.02. It's unbelievable how fast they are going up. They were 10 cents lower only yesterday after the previous increase a few days before that. Someone HAS to be getting rich from this.

On a side note, I noticed alot of gas station people getting cussed out as well. Poor guys/girls...they have nothing to do with this, yet getting the raw end of the deal.

And since the "mad max" world is coming true so far, lets just hurry up and build a fort with a giant gas truck inside, and charge lots of money for it so we can keep the colony going. I'll man the defensive harpoons!

I spoke to a friend of mine from Baton Rouge today. With all that is going on with the storm, those assholes have gone up to $3.80 to $3.90 a gallon. It seems that would be illegal as those people are without homes and everything else right now. Go figure!!

2.89 yesterday
3.19 today

It'll probably go up another .40 for Labor Day weekend, and they're saying it's going to break 4.00 before it comes back down.

But on the upshot, Bush released the Federal oil reserve, so it could've been worse.

Question for the Europeans: Does it seem more fair for you guys to see our prices approaching yours? Just curious, and I'm not being a smartass, I promise!

$3.00 here finally. The sad part about this all is with the rising gas prices everything else is going to cost more. This is hurting the economy pretty bad. The price of everything has to rise because it costs more to ship the goods. I have talked to some people who are self employed and this is really making it tough for them too.
