What is the first thing that attracts you to a potential mate in physical appearance?

I think I would have to say the eyes on this one believe it or not as the eyes tell the whole story of what a person is all about and if you read the eyes than the rest should all fall into place. I also believe that the eyes are the outer mirror to the inner person beyond the physical shell if that makes sense.

What I notice first depends on which direction he's facing. If he's facing away from me, I check out his shoulders -- I like broad shoulders. However, I'm in total agreement on what you said about the eyes. Those are most important so I try to get a good look at them as soon as possible.

Good Topic:
I agree with you Isabella that the eyes are the mirror to the inner person. I guess what first attracts me to someone is their build but I am a stickler for nice eyes because I like to look into eyes. I also seem to prefer blond or medium brown hair, blue, green or hazel eyes. I like fine features. They say you are usually attracted to people who have features you'd like to see in your children. lol

A mate, I have to go with what Chiron which drection she came from. Now a relationship is not all physical.
Mind and soul are just as or even more important.
I do go with the eyes but I cant see her from 10 or 15 feet away.

I've always been attracted to tall, slim, rugged looking guys with a twinkle in their eyes. If they turn out to be intelligent, funny and sober they are definitely my type!

hmmmm. The eyes have it. They tell me what I need to know. But if you wanna grub on some physical stuff, I'd have to say tall and thick is what I find attractive. Honestly. I tend to go gagga over dark brunettes, too, although all my youngsters are pretty blondes and redheads. Any long, shiny, healthy hair gets my attention. The blondes I like on TV are all dyed blondes (Lord of the Rings trilogy - man, with that elf, I could really like slender) with brown eyes (the King's nephew was even hotter than the elf). And how about the (whoisit) brother that played on "Vampires?" Yummy!

Nah, I think the elf was hotter lol!

But I agree about hair, and it gets tough to find guys with hair, especially long hair when you get into my age bracket.

mmmm, maybe we can get them to double-date us? You can have the elf on Friday, and I get 'im on Saturday! Just kidding.... not a player.... but full of sick humor.

As for the Vampire hunter, Baldwin was his name - the big, fat Balwin brother, is it Eric? Gosh, he's good looking.

i have to agree, the eyes are what draws me to a person before anything else then it's what i feel coming from him that's inside.

I'd like to get deep in this one, but in all honesty...it's the hair. I'm a sucker for hair...nice hair turns my head everytime. Too skinny or perfect bodies keep me moving on. I like to see some imperfections.
