Try this one on for fun and games.

My story in a nut shell....introduced to a lady who was just beginning her divorce process, as I had been in the process for 6 mo. they thought I could give her some helpful advice. She was friendly, articulate and intelligent....but.... she decided I was going to be her new play toy. Kept trying to develop a relationship, told her I wasn't interested. Long story short, she hit the sauce pretty hard one day and called her friend and me repeatedly wanting to know why I wasn't interested, told her we just didn't click. She did the dumb thing of whiskey, pills and guilt. I called EMS (she lives 80 miles away), she spent 3 days in ICU, gets out, calls and acts like nothing ever happened. Have problem solved now but she is a MENTAL HEALTH COUNCILER dealing with situations she just did.

I seem to attract the crazy ones, I've got to quit making eye contact I guess. confused

I ahve lost 2 friends to people who didn't take threats serious. Glad you have survived that one. Sounds like he had an inside connection to what was going on.

I have been stalked twice. Not cool at all. The first time it was an ex b/f. The second time it was a complete stranger who apparently saw me from afar in a store I was shopping at. Horrible & strange, but far from funny. uh oh!

Not trying to get anyone to re-live the bad moments, just the funny or odd ones. I feel it should be open season on those individuals who are threatening another. Sorry, just my opinion.

I think most men don't really feel very threatened by their stalkers, by this I don't mean the psycho, crazy, homicidal type. It is more of a feeling of "Oh Great, now what do I do" thing to get rid of this person w/o having to have a big confrontation.

hmmm...i recently ran across this guy's myspace, so he's on my mind...hmmm...

when jay and i were first living together (jay was my husband, he's the girls' dad)...randy came over quite a bit. he was an ex who was also a close friend...and he didn't approve of jay.

randall tried to convince me that i needed to go back to him, and i blew that off. one night, we played a drinking game...and randall ended up smashed. we put him in the spare bedroom to sleep it off.

randall puked allll over my spare bed, then got up and left, then came back.

while i was in bed sleeping, i feel a body next to mine, all nude 'n stuff...and he's pressing against me...and i'm sooo thinking it is jay. wrong! randall had decided to give it one more full shot, lol...

i told him he had better get out of that bed...that if jay caught him he'd be in SERIOUS trouble...that jay sometimes came home on his break...i explained that i was in love, and it wasn't with him...and reiterated that he needed to get out before jay caught him.

at that point, i hear a voice boom, "too late."

my honey had been at the door listening, and heard the whole spiel. thank goodness, lol...cause he just escorted the naked randall out the door, busted all his beer and sent him on his way.

Ok, this wasn't very funny at the time, but is now. It took me a couple years and lots of arrests to get rid of a stalker. Because of this, I am a bit gun shy... A couple of months ago about 2 am I was on my computer, everything in the house was very quiet. Suddenly, a knock on the door. No way was I opening the door at 2 am to anyone. I immediately called the police. I hollered out the door and asked who it was. She told me she was the Dominoes pizza lady. Well, not falling for any tricks as I had not ordered any pizza, I refused to open the door. Police arrived, it was the pizza lady and her car had broken down. They got her help and she went on her way. I get teased daily because I am apparently scared of "pizza" rolling on the floor laughing D'oh!
