Yes! I would hate to miss the love of my life because I did not know she was there and cared.

So...how do you know they care? After you have interacted for say, months, or even years...how do you know? Sure, you might take it a step and do the visit thing...expensive! Then it has to be done again, and again, and again, because well..one or two "visits" just aren't gonna do it for me.

How does one keep it up? How do you manage to maintain "dating", because really, that is what dating is all about, getting to KNOW someone, over a distance?

I'm sorry, I don't have it in me anymore to trust that much or to leave that much to chance. I will never again allow a man to just step himself into my life, or me into his. It is a slow and careful thing and one that has to be approached with caution and common sense.

I've been in one site where members can send winks. For every wink I've recieved I would send back an email and get no replies. I've even sent emails to those who looked interesting and have the same luck. I got to the point where I just cancelled the subscription.
On another site I'm being bombarded by emails......from foriegn women, mostly Russian.
Either way, doesn't matter to me

first answer - yes I think it's in your best interest to e-mail or send flowers if you're interested or else you will never know if you don't go.
It also let's you know if there's possibility of something or no. As Sask secret has found that there is no interest in the distance game, but how would one know, unless the e-mail/flower was sent. That is when you find out or not, either by a response or none at all.
