Just thought i'd ask if anyone believes in old wives tales?

I was going through my jewllery box the other day and spotted a ring i hadn't worn for years...so i thought i'd wear it. The only finger it fits on is the wedding finger.

So my friend dropped into day an she spotted it then said it was bad luck to wear a ring on that finger!! But she wasn't 100% sure as she said it was an old wives tale.

What do you think..confused

I don't really believe in old wives tales but I don't see how that is a problem wearing it on your right hand. I dunno what hand you put a wedding band on over there but here it would be on the left ring finger. I heard from a lady in England they wear theirs on their right ring finger...dunno

What I am trying to say is I don't see anything wrong with wearing one on the oppote hand that you'd wear a wedding band on..lol D'oh!

If I see a woman with a wedding ring on then I assume she is married. So if you are looking for someone don't wear it there. Maybe put it on a necklace?

I think if you like the ring, wear it on whatever finger you want to wear it on! If it only fits one and you want to wear it on a different one, take it to the jewlers and get it sized.

As for wearing it on your left ring finger, it might encourage men to ask you out even more since everyone always wants what they don't think they can have.

I have worked with women that wear a ring on wedding finger to slow down getting hit on, but bad luck I don't think so, unless you believe it. Dr.
