Friday, February 12, 2016, 4:31 PM - In anticipation of Valentine's Day, Google Canada has picked out the country's most romantic spots. There are a few surprises on the list, but we are curious: How many have you visited?

WHISTLER, B.C.

"Take your love to new heights at 7th Heaven in Whistler Blackcomb - an appropriate name for this magical mountain peak in the clouds," Google says.

It's true: Blackcomb is home to one of the most spectacular views on the planet. Don't believe us? We have photographic evidence:

BANFF, ALBERTA

We've written about our love for Banff numerous times. With 4,200 acres available for skiing, it's one of the largest ski resorts in North America and it's definitely worth visiting, even if you aren't interested in hitting the slopes.

"Nestled between the Canadian Rockies, Banff Springs National Park is a coveted UNESCO World Heritage Site, and an idyllic place to experience with someone special," Google says.

"Offering hiking, canoeing, biking, skiing and snowshoeing, Canada’s first National Park truly has it all."

LOVE, SASKATCHEWAN

It would be silly to make a list of romantic places and not include this small, Saskatchewan village.

During this time of year, this normally sleepy town gets a lot of attention.

"This aptly named quaint village in Saskatchewan has received international recognition as people from around the world send their wedding invitations, Valentine’s Day cards and more to be stamped with the romantically oriented postmark before being forwarded to their final destinations," Google says.

CHURCHILL, MANITOBA

Churchill, Manitoba is considered one of the best places on the planet to see polar bears in the autumn, when they migrate into the area to hunt.

Peak season is between October and November, but you can see the bears other times of the year in lesser numbers.

"Known as the “Polar Bear Capital of the World”, Churchill, Manitoba offers wildlife tours where visitors can safely catch a rare glimpse of the endangered animal in its vast and beautiful natural habitat," Google says.

While a polar bear isn't the first thing that comes to mind when one thinks of Valentine's Day, there's no denying how incredible these animals are.

NIAGARA FALLS, ONTARIO

There's nothing quite like seeing the falls in person for the first time.

"This breathtaking natural wonder is a popular wedding proposal spot for a reason," Google rightfully points out.

OLD QUEBEC, QUEBEC

Old Quebec is a spectacular place to visit, famous for its cobblestone roads, incredible restaurants and old European charm.

"Dating back to 1608, this historic French colonial neighbourhood is like a little slice of Europe in Canada," Google says.

PEGGY'S COVE, NOVA SCOTIA

The Peggy's Point Lighthouse, located in Nova Scotia, is a Canadian icon making the area a must-see for anyone visiting Atlantic Canada, year-round.

Located 43 kilometres southwest of downtown Halifax, there's plenty to do, including kayaking, scuba diving, and boat tours.

When you get hungry, stop into a local restaurant for some of the best lobster on the planet.

THE SKYLINE TRAIL, NOVA SCOTIA

Cape Breton Highlands National Park provides an incredible view of the ocean, and you'll want to return here again and again.

Continued.....heart beating

JELLYBEAN ROW, St. JOHN'S, NEWFOUNDLAND

"This picturesque seaside city and capital of Newfoundland is known for its colourful rows of houses and some of the friendliest people you’ll ever meet," Google says.

We agree -- we can't get enough of this view.

IQALUIT, NUNAVUT

"Cuddle up and experience a once-in-a-lifetime ride on a “Qamotiq” (traditional Inuit sled) in Nunavut’s capital city, and discover the magnificent Great White North," Google says. If you're lucky, you might catch a glimpse of some stunning auroras, too.

professor 30,000 years ago, a lineage of wolf branched off from the pack and became dog... In this age, if a wolf pup is raised by humans, the wolf pup will have the need to roam 10 to 15 miles from its home as an adult wolf, while doggies learn early to stay near and be content with being house or yard dogs. And they still accept our foolishness.

Please not Alfred!scold He's the coolest on this show, Two Guy's are out golfing on the back nine. One guy hits the ball too wide and the ball lands in the trees, just as he's looking around he looks up too see a funeral procession passing. He unmistakably without haste removes the hat and places it over his heart. As he bows, the second man comes up and says man Bill, that has got too be the nicest thing I have ever seen anyone ever do! Bill turns to Burty and says, That is the least I could possibly do. You see our marriage lasted for almost 30, years..grin
