I like to watch with my daughter -who is a better cook than me regarding to international cuisine yet I am better in Mexican cuisine- is Master Chef Australia and UK. The American version is a bit raw and I prefer the way the chefs treat the amateur cooks and do the show in the Australian and UK version.

Recently my daughter also found Chef’s table a short series yet fascinating regarding to cuisine and cultures, some amazing stories. The ones I liked the most are about Chefs from USA, India and Slovenia.

We do watch them in a computer, there is not one tv in my home.

I will check the Food network, thank you Serene!

Hi, Serene.... Yes, I watch it frequently. I really dig Chef Anthony Bourdain's 'Parts Unknown' program on CNN where he taste's food in different parts of the world.

Regarding to the Chef's table series, the one in Slovenia is an interesting story somehow with some resemblance to Massimo Bottura story in Italy. They both helped to develop the local cheese-making business but I do like more the style and presentation of Hiša Franko than Massimo Bottura's style (too modern for me).

I like cultural, ethnic cuisine with emphasis on home cooking (down to earth kind of) with just normal and affordable ingredients yet delicious and there is always something to learn and apply into everyday's cooking.

thumbs up
