JoyCrest: Len, I know what you mean. Actually, tipping in Japan before was considered a corruption. Okay, when you give charity to the poor, you are making them parasites. But help can be a necessity for some cases. Regarding politics, I see the Democrats really wanted crooked Hillary because she's easy to deal with unlike Bernie Sanders who is not that corrupt. So the world discovered that her presidential nomination was totally rigged with those wikileak emails.. at least the Republicans let Trump be the nominee because of strong people power. I think the Republicans are morally better than the Dems !
1, Tipping. if you order a wedding and you pay a lot then you assume the service is paid. done. tipping one individual is not a reference to your entire person. 2, giving to poor doesn't make them parasites. The poor is a hard group. I can't defend all of them, but the group is generally too big than it should be. And the qualities of the Rich are far more overestimated than the Poor. 3, we knew. And even with all, Bernie did not have a chance. For the world, Bernie might have had the best views. He could have changed 3rd world countries. Internationally i wouldn't take him serious. And he simply does not represent the most of the USA.
For my view of the USA: Trump represent most Americans. money focussed, egocentric, kicking to below, shouting, easy options and ignoring all facts, and no clue about the outside world. Winner takes all and give the man a badge and medal.
GOP or DEM is a harder choice. the system is bad, what can they do?

I find your comment that I highlighted interesting. For me; Money is a necessity, not an end-all desire. I am not self-centered. I care enough about me so I can enjoy others. I find it pointless to continue kicking a dead horse. I get my points across without ever resorting to SHOUTING. I don't ignore facts. I base debates on them, and always welcome the facts. I know a lot about the outside world, and I'll admit there's a lot I do not know, but I'm always open to learning. And I am an American.
It's easy to have one's perceptions while being on the outside looking in. And the media has a way of feeding one's perceptions.

YouMeUs: You really should stop watching CNN (and any extreme media), unless you support race baiting and the other false accusations...
Which False accusations?
so much for a debate with the " you should stop watching cnn " What is it with some American guys that when some people disagree with their opinions they think that person watch CNN?
YouMeUs: I never said to "trust" anything. And had you watched that video instead of discrediting it because of what you believe or disbelieve, you would have seen where I was coming from with my post to Life.
It clearly points out that we the people are on to the media and how corrupt it is.
And should you decide to watch, it starts at 14:50...so you don't have to listen to anything else in the speech.
2intrigued: Random acts of kindness is a wonderful thing as long as it doesn't infringe on his wanting to build a golf course or a casino.
There is a fantastic documentary (I think done by the BBC ) about trump's treatment of some locals in Scotland where he is building a golf course. The people had lived their all their lives, and generations before them and Trump tried to use every underhand and bullying trick in the book to get them to bow to his will.
It didn't and on his recent visit there, 4 weeks or so ago, the neigbours had erected 40 ft poles on their land flying the Mexican flag. Hilarious.
Trump gave up his show THE APPRENTICE where he got a million per episode to go after the presidency if ever and he will be paid at least 400,000 + as salary of a US President if elected. He definitely cannot come back to his show because they cut business with him due to his controversial not politically correct remark! So Trump is real and sincere for the country!
Need to add, I think if I remember right, 450,000+ $ is the salary per annum of a US president but with special privileges. If Trump is a good businessman, he will not take this deal because it is risking his life!
I think Ann Coulter, a lawyer, is courageous enough to write her next book IN TRUMP WE TRUST, coming out August 23. She believes Trump is great! Many people can trash her but she wrote some best sellers. I wish to get her book here.

You might be right there Joy if Trump were a good business man he would not even be in politics?
Which btw why is it that Trump has not disclosed his income taxes? He did promised to do it once Obama had presented his birth certificate and Obama did it.
Why would a good and honest business man (if there is any honest one) would not want to show the world he has nothing to hide?

Dear Life,
I'm sure he will present his tax returns but since he is scrutinized all the time, he might present it after election. It must be the advice of his campaign manager... He is living in a fish bowl where everything will be an issue whether he will pay more taxes or less. But he will pay a fine for late declaration..
HE asked for the birth certificate of Obama 'coz one has to be a natural born citizen and there were infos he was born in Africa. It took him a long time to present it but according to some reports, it was faked.
Who ever will win will have a hard time. But easier for the system if it would be Hillary, she has no resistance for corruption and illegal deals! Do you know the half brother of Obama from Kenya will go back to the US in November to vote for Trump. He is not happy with the present foreign policy of his brother and did not like the acquittal of Clinton from the FBI. Surprising!

I do admire your passion and love for Trump Joy yet that does not match with the facts.
Facts:
Obama presented his birth certificate and he is an American Citizen. Trump has not disclosed his income taxes.
Let us go with facts and evidnce Joy so if we are going to spend our valuable time on this matter let us have solid grounds on it.
YouMeUs: Which is more than can be said for Hillary. We are in a serious situation where we must decide who is the lesser of the two evils, because we only have two real choices in the running. Trump and Clinton. Any newcomers won't stand a chance, given the short amount of time remaining...swing votes won't favor but instead, hinder.
If the world wants to continue with having corrupt governments becoming more corrupt, by all means remain silent...or speak up and try to make a difference.
Bottom line....me thinks you guys are screwed either way with the choices offered but one thing is certain, if I were a voting citizen in the US, I would never vote for the likes of Trump. I have watched his presentations and all I got from them was confirmation that he's not presidential material by a long shot. He's unprofessional, a bully, behaves like a spoiled child, manipulative, and just plain evil from what I've seen watching him on stage. He's a salesman first and foremost and so far, it looks like he's done a fine job at selling himself to the American people so let's see if he can and does follow through on the promises he's made without causing America to sink. All I gotta say is, vote wisely folks and I'll make sure I have enough ladders for everyone and perhaps a supply of tissues to wipe away the tears.
