So long as women are not represented over and above their level of activity and interest in politics, yes: So long as a woman makes it on merit and not because she's a woman, yes.
I actually believe they can make very good leaders. An intelligent woman can adapt to a man's world better than he could adapt to hers and it's just a question of disciplining her emotions and her interests to limit her preoccupation with the small and twatty. Things to watch out for with women in politics is vengeance and taking it personal like feminists or Thatcher.

Politicians should be serving the people, the notion that someone is a leader or in charge is complete stupidity.
And no a women shouldn't be in charge of man, that's stupidity to, stupid Italian notion, probably dreamed up in the vatican, women has a right to be women, and so to man a man, neither should be second fiddling to other.

Pretty much agree with this Rob however it is a position of power.
Accountability from politicians seems a dream and its getting further away the more we see from them.
