Insiders to Trump: Drop out
'I’d rather take our chances with nearly anyone else than continue with this certain loser who will likely cost the Senate and much more,' said a New Hampshire Republican.
By STEVEN SHEPARD 08/05/16 05:18 AM EDT

Amid widespread chatter that Donald Trump could drop out of the presidential race before Election Day, Republican insiders in key battleground states have a message for The Donald: Get out.

That’s according to The POLITICO Caucus — a panel of activists, strategists and operatives in 11 swing states. The majority of GOP insiders, 70 percent, said they want Trump to drop out of the race and be replaced by another Republican candidate — with many citing Trump’s drag on Republicans in down-ballot races. But those insiders still think it’s a long-shot Trump would actually end his campaign and be replaced by another GOP candidate.

“I’d rather take our chances with nearly anyone else than continue with this certain loser who will likely cost the Senate and much more,” said a New Hampshire Republican — who, like all respondents, completed the survey anonymously.

“The effect Trump is having on down-ballot races has the potential to be devastating in November,” added a Florida Republican. “His negative image among Hispanics, women and independents is something that could be devastating to Republicans. Trump’s divisive rhetoric to the Hispanic community at large has the potential to be devastating for years to come.”

Trump has given no indication that he’s considering quitting, and his campaign insists his perseverance is one of his best attributes. But two network reports recently suggested senior GOP leaders were eyeing how that process would work, just in case.

A Trump exit from the race after he’s been formally nominated would trigger a rarely used vacancy rule in the national Republican Party’s rulebook. That rule empowers the Republican National Committee — a 168-member panel that includes three GOP leaders from every state and territory — to select a replacement. The RNC is also authorized to reconvene the national convention, which would be all but logistically impossible.

The hand writing is on the wall, as the world watches and see the signs in Trump's behavior and what he speaks. Trump will not be dropping out of the race on his own, his pride will not allow him to do such, but he WILL BE FORCED OUT after the first debates.... there is a difference between Trump volunteering to dropping out, and Trump having to be FORCED OUT, because Clinton is going to clean his clock in the first debate and make all at Fox News (Hannity and O'Reily and others), as well as all his supporters embarrassed beyond measure.. Trump is unprepared for the debates, he is mentally and emotionally unfit and unstable for the position of being the President. Everyone knows this, but his supporters refuse to ACCEPT THE FACTS.

Trump is like unto Nebuchadnezzar in character and personality, and he listens to no one's counsel about his unacceptable behavior and lies. He lied to his supporters about seeing a "secret" video of the 400 million being transferred, and its so sad many believed him. Therefore, God will be the One to sit Trump down, just as God sat Nebuchadnezzar down (Daniels chapter 4), who boast in his own pride of his own greatness. God does not exalt pride. The hand writing is on the wall for Trump if he does not make serious changes soon... as the world watches and see the signs in Trump's behavior and what he speaks as being on a decline.

Donald Trump is a very prideful "The Deceiver", he lies and deceives himself and others, and his own pride and deceit will be his downfall resulting in many humiliating experiences in public.

Trump admits he didn't see nonexistent Iran money video
By NICK GASS and LOUIS NELSON 08/05/16 06:50 AM EDT

Donald Trump did something unusual Friday: He admitted he was wrong.

"The plane I saw on television was the hostage plane in Geneva, Switzerland, not the plane carrying $400 million in cash going to Iran!" the Republican nominee tweeted, a day after he doubled down on his claim that he had seen footage of a plane unloading money on the same day the Iranian government released four American prisoners in January.

Trump spokeswoman Hope Hicks told the Washington Post on Thursday that the video was of the prisoners being released and not of the money. But hours later, Trump repeated his claim about the video at a rally in Portland, Maine.

The Republican nominee has rarely acknowledged gaffes in the past, although he did express regret earlier this year over retweeting an unflattering image of Ted Cruz's wife amid a heated primary season as well as his answer to a hypothetical question about whether women who get abortions should be punished if the practice were to be made illegal.

Later Friday morning, Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort denied that there was any mix-up in regards to the nonexistent footage, but quickly shifted gears to another of Trump's recent talking points: that the cash delivered by the U.S. likely wound up either funding terrorism or found its way into "some of the mullahs' bank accounts."

“I'm not sure if there was confusion," Manafort said when asked about Trump's admission that he had not in fact seen video of the cash delivery. "The point that he was making is the cash transfer took place and it was taking place consistent with the transfer of hostages. Again what the Obama administration wants to do is get off of the point. The point is $400 million in cash, that most likely ended up in terrorist camps, used against the west, was given in exchange for hostages. And the president of the United States lied to the American people. That’s the point.”

I think it would be better if both Trump and Clinton were forced out, as neither are fit for POTUS, and for various reasons...and I believe most people know what those reasons are, but do not care regardless.

Unfortunately there's far too many people who love wool-overs.

Actually, the political machine of Hillary is very efficient and they release strong press releases against him all the time. She really should win because of her big pending case still being investigated THE CLINTON FOUNDATION. Since she's the DEMS nominee, everyone should create, issues or provoke Trump to the maximum to quit! A demolition campaign against him! They pay the best public relation officers and writers, the media would like her to win! It's the best thing to do because he can't be eliminated totally.

But anyway, if they succeed, too bad for America. Hillary could sell the whole country & she will be a puppet. It will be good, the US dollar may depreciate and can spend more holidays in the US, if there will be less terrorists in America than in Europe!

Watch the YouTube video : HILLARY CAUGHT RUNNING TRUMP DISINFORMATION CAMPAIGN. If the DEMS have rigged the nomination of Hillary, they can also do that this November.sad flower

String, enjoyed reading the 35 of Hillary's Biggest Accomplishments!

True Indeed!

But the latest YouTube video is THE CLINTON BODY COUNT + 5 in just 6

weeks should be watched. Actually, the only one they publicized is

Seth Rich & they

use him for gun control campaign... Who will kill this young man? He

has no enemies. And if you imagine, how come almost a dozen bodyguards

were killed during their term? Don't remember the right number, but

this is impressive! Not only a big political mzchine, but it seems a

murder network!sad flower

For all intents and purposes Trump is running as an independent . Ryan typical of the self serving rubbish that would not give his support but demand support from Trump . Just like Romney , they crawl to Trump then spit in his face when it suits . These are the same ones only to happy to export US jobs to China then blame the unemployed for not having work and needing support .

applause thumbs up So very true. I too, think they both should drop out, and should have never been nominated/voted on in the first place. But there are many who seek a hero and savior, and will always look for such in all the wrong places.doh

Third party candidates look rather hopeful to me, because if we don't vote, the candidate with the highest votes Hillary or Trump is going to win nevertheless... therefore, the only thing we (republicans and democrats who do not wish for either Clinton or Trump) can do is, try to block both of them by voting for a third party... Libertarian Party’s presidential ticket — composed of former GOP Gov. Gary Johnson of New Mexico as President and former GOP Gov. Bill Weld of Massachusetts as Vice President. Of course, I'm sure many Bernie supporters will be doing a write-in for him.

Johnson is petitioning the commission to get on the debate ticket, but I don't think that's going to work out because it is rather late in the game... of course, if there IS a debate, Trump is already trying to back out by saying the debates are rigged against him, as well as the election is rigged, and the debates haven't even started, nor has anyone even cast the first vote .scold professorrolling on the floor laughing

And as it is known, if Trump was winning in the polls, he would be boasting and have a different view, but Clinton is leading him by 15 points in the polls, so now he says the polls are rigged as well.rolling on the floor laughing

Hey Crayons, sorry but did you read this article where Trump confessed that he was WRONG when he made those statements. In fact, he said the video was a secret tape, so if it was such a secret why was he broadcasting it all over the media or telling anyone at his rallies that he had watched this so-called secret tape?

The tape is a tape shown of the prisoners being released. READ THE ARTICLE AT THE TOP OF THIS PAGE, AND WATCH THE VIDEO. Its been shonw all over the media

BTW who are the leftist liberal media? Seems like Fox News is the only media outlet that is of the rightist elite laugh.. ALL media outlets have shown this same video that Trump has been lying about. Trump even had the wrong country of where the money was supposedly been transferred. The Iranians DID NOT SHOW TRUMP ANY SUCH VIDEO. SORRY, TRUMP IS A LIAR! what is wrong with you people who supposrt this man's foolishness?doh confused

Thanks for your participation, as alwaysteddybear bouquet
