We have all been around awhile and are much wiser now from all the experience under our belts...so here goes...
I went to visit a girl who lived about 20 kilometers away from me..most of the route downhill, on a bicycle without brakes...wrecked my brand new shoes after using it as brakes on the tires.
I almost ran over one of my dates, I reversed so as to align my car just as he was approaching by foot, then hit him with my car door when I got out , the rest went well though.
I was 13. My friend set up a double date with a friend of his gf. We went to a movie and waited for the girls to arrive. The girls arrived and sat down and my date was so paranoid about being on a date with a boy she stood up and ran out of the theater. I never saw her again. The 3 of us stayed and watched the movie.

Went to pick up a date & when I entered the living room, I saw two identical twins & couldn't for the life of me, differentiate between the two until it was time to leave with my date... Needless to say, she was soon to bet wife.

Well....as you can see..we are not some young spring chicken..
Recently met this girl online, who lives in another province..which speaks a different language..
Told her I was going to a dance..she asked if I could come and pick her up. Well, it was raining, and by golly, I could not find her house. Kept driving around in circles. Called her a few times then finally picked her up. She said she was late for supper. Now remember, we were supposed to be going to a club, which serves food..in my province.
Out of the blue, she said I should take her back home, which I did. End of relationship.
I met someone here on CS and after a few messages, we decided to meet over a cuppa at Starbucks.
After getting our coffee, we chose the coziest corner. I walked ahead of him and chose the seat that was facing the entrance. Saw him quickly walked to my side and thinking that he wanted that seat, I walked to the opposite side of the table. I then looked up and saw him holding out the chair for me at the other side!!!!
I went, 'Oh!' and profusely. Awkwardly, I told him that was my first time that someone ( minus the waiters in fancy restaurants ) had ever pulled a chair out for me in my entire 42 years of life!
Guess he didn't deem my lack of 'worldliness' a problem coz we went on to have many more interesting dates subsequently

By Jove, I was in love
I'd like to share my funniest, maybe weirdest date I've ever had but the mods would probably delete this thread if I did.

I must say..that was not funny in the true sense..that was more love at first bite.
Dreamcatcher99: I nearly died from embarrassment that fateful night
No need to be embarrassed. There are some women who could teach me a thing or two and there are some who I can teach a thing or two. I prefer the latter.
