An expression used as a means of dumping someone, by ignoring them. Is it the best way of letting your partner know that you're not interested in pursuing the relationship , or a cowards way out?

lol, I would give someone a reason, cold silence is rediculous.
mollybaby: How is it sparing the other person's feelings?
It is more likely to add to them rather than sparing them. The fact that you couldn't even be bothered enough to break up face to face with them.
Not all break ups are bad. Not all break ups are drama-filled.
People should man-up.
I agree , if it was a serious relationship & that the other party was under the impression that the relationship was leading to something more concrete.. But there are times when silence or ghosting, speaks more than any words can.

Nope. I will never agree.
It is better to say it to the person one way or the other.

Closure is important.
Ok, I'll give you an example!! Say for instance, you found that after a few dates, you found him to be very boring, as well as a lousy lover.. What words would you use , to terminate the relationship?

I don't think we have much in common or this isn't working out or (to feed his ego ) I would say that he could find somebody much better suited to his personality than I am
I would know after the first half an hour if he were boring anyway. But I mightn't know that he is a lousy lover quite so soon

One2note: That may the reason why you only date pensioners, because , having already acquired their freedom pass, you don't have to fork out the extra expense for the bus ride home.
