First of all, I've never cheated and never will. But I think the number one reason why people cheat is because they're either scared or just too much of a coward to break it off with the person they're unhappy with. Therefore, they meet someone else that strikes their interest and they end up cheating. It's the most common situation that I'm familiar with.

It´s funny that the people that never cheated are most active in giving reasons why other people have cheated. I feel safe to see that the superhumans imune to all temptations and with the ability to read other peoples mind are here watching over all of us.

there is only one true reason: They CHOSE to do it!

no one and nothing MAKES you do anything, unless it's an extreme matter of life or death! It's just what I feel anyway! conversing

1) They have no, or severely lacking, morals
2) Too cowardly to be honest about what they do
3) Too lazy to work with their partner to deal with whatever their problems are
4) Too self centered to care about how it affects others
5) So insecure they need their ego stroked
6) So low in standards that they will accept with someone as sleazy as they are (takes two)
7) Compulsive liars keeping them from being honest with their partner
8) Trying to prove to themselves that they aren't as bad in bed as they actually are
9) Can't hold their liquor
10) They want to be the ones the clean, honest, decent people can look down on.

Low self esteem, unable to commit physically and emotional to just one partner.

Will never grow up? or is just a worthless life, destroying everything in it's path...and there are people like that.

6. Autumn
7. Peggy Sue

I'm sure there are more but I didn’t want to take my shoes off right now to count on my toes. After all, you did just say to give the top ten.

OK....here's a situation....True: I've never cheated...always broke up if I felt the need to date others innocent

.... However, now I'm dating a guy and I am considering cheating. scold

By cheating I mean having coffee with another guy that has been asking me for awhile. I've been saying no....but not that I have a b/f. uh oh!

I suspect my b/f is cheating on me sigh
....However, that does not make it right for me to do the same.

Besides...I may be trying to justify MY cheating....if I did so...but then...Haven't I already cheated just considering having coffee with this other guy?.....dunno

What do you think?

Cheating is just plain wrong--it is very cowardly.

Just because you think he may be cheating doesn't mean you should also. And "having coffee" isn't just having coffee if , in your mind, you are seeking more. Just ask your current boyfriend if he is seeing someone else. Then ask him if he is happy in the relationship. Then tell him you are somewhat unhappy and may want to see other people. If you both are unhappy, then break up and go have coffee. If either one of you isn't sure, then you have alot to talk about with each other. Just my opinion. Good luck.

....Oh and why would I cheat? You would think it would be for revengedevil

but not at all, really..... I've brought this up to him:

1. He seems reluctant to be with me in public or to meet any of his friends.(guys help me out here)*

2. We talk about a current event (MAYBE) and then watch TV.*(and here too)

Of course this is all from my perspective.....which doesn't account for the whole truth ...we've been dating only 3mos and it's like we've been married 25yrs.......

You all have been there....and the answer is: If you're not happy...1st try to discuss it then ...don't cheat break up....

It's not even about this other guy.....

If your dating and not happy, dump him. Move on and see the other guy.
Personally, i cant multiple date. I think my values tell me one at a time.

I'm not going to cheat....I'm going to gather the guts to break up.I would never want anyone to cheat on me (Who do I think I am if I can't abide by my own ethics??) ..who knows, maybe he's thinking the same thing.

Even if I end up having coffee by myself....sigh
