Imasquirly1: Hi all, I am wondering...if someone you were interested in dating had a medical issue, would you still consider dating them?
I was interested in someone who had a medical condition. I even went above board and did a lot of research to guide them in what they should and shouldn't be doing.

I have enough problems keeping track of my own health risks, the idea of that increasing would terrify me. so no, if the medical issue was a serious one I would keep them in the Friend zone

What's odd is how it is easier to die for someone else than it is to live for them. The moment of supreme sacrifice comes easier than the hard daily tasks of endless giving Throwing yourself on the grenade is easier than being someone's Mother Teresa.

For me it would depend on the severity of the medical condition and what impact that would have to my own health and my relationship with them....I'm not looking to be anyone's carer.
As others have said, it would depend on the condition.
It would also depend on the person's attitude towards it. If they let it define their life, then no. If they lived life to the fullest despite it, then yes.
I did go out with someone who had a serious medical condition. But he didn't let it define who he was.
