i am one of those guys that beleaves in all ways smile and be nice. i have learned beaing to nice gets you no where. Do you people think there is to nice?
Are you only being nice because you think it will get you somewhere then?! Why not just carry on being nice and if people aren't receptive, then its their loss?!!

I have experienced that a few times, even told by one lady (not from CS) that I was too nice. After a few of those experiences, I taught maybe I should change and not be so nice. But I came too the decision that why should I change,it is not a bad thing to be nice.cool

You have to come accross as a challenge. If you are the first guy in line to help her move that will be the only time you ever see her bedroom.

Tikiguy, that might not be true...I don't like to be challenged to much...it turns me off as a sign of immaturity. I am not talking about you but my experience in general.

That is good advice. I had been thinking about this subject for a couple of weeks and concluded that even if I tried, I couldn't be the "bad boy". I just have to be who I am and if a woman cannot accept that, or doesn't want that, so be it.thumbs up

We are what we are...'Nice' is as nice does..'Nice' always pays off!!

Maybe not today, but, eventually, it will..Ask yourself.."Would I rather contact someone who is nice, or, someone who is nasty"?

There. is your answer!!

None of you like it - but you respond to it. It's like a subconcious addiction. Mr. nice guy is changing your tires while some other guy is checking your oil. It's like a science fiction movie where females can't see it but it's right there bigger than life.

Nice guys are great . The only thing I can think of being a problem would be that some females like myself just arn't use to it .
I have had alot of nice guys approach me but I didn't know how to accept things they did. Don't get me wrong Too nice is great for someone who understands being treated in such a way.confused wink hug

Hey, just do the next right thing. I praise anyone who is doing a nice thing for me, be it a man or a woman. Really, where is it going to get you - being mean - ? It will just lower your sense of who you are even more so than what you are feeling already. Apparently you feel hurt. We all experience that feeling. Just say to yourself, "I've done the right thing, I've done my best in this situation". Then, go on, talk it out like you are doing now, and move on. comfort

I live by 2 rules

1. Be nice

2 When it comes time NOT to be nice - "throw a dollar in that persons pocket and slam change right out their ass"

It is good to be nice to one's self by getting a proper amount of rest; eating right and treating yourself when you can. It is not always easy to be nice to others because their view of nice and yours may not be the same.

I'd rather be nice to others even if I don't get anything in return. Just making someone happy is a blessing to me! wave
