Prayer:
Lord we come before You and thank You that Your ears are open to our prayers. Our hearts are concerned and we ask You to keep our loved ones safe who are serving abroad. Release the help of Your angels. Your word says, "to You belong escapes from death" and we ask You to give many escapes from death.

We thank you for these men and women and especially remember those who have children back home. The fathers and mothers who are risking their lives to help others. We ask that You would give unusual safety from every kind of danger, and that in Your mercy You would preserve their lives so they can be rejoined with their children.

We also remember those who are sons and daughters, and brothers and sisters. We lift our concern to you, and we ask that You would release your help in this time when we find ourselves so limited in what we can do. Give them the comfort and courage they need. And protect them from all life endangering elements.

We thank You Lord for hearing our prayers and releasing Your help. Thank You that You really are a God who is near in times of trouble. And we ask these things in Jesus name. Amen.

Your health, your souls, your minds and overall well being are important and valuable to us all. Thank you for doing what you are called to do. Please never lose your compassion, and remember that love is everywhere. All Nations need you in peace and in war. Never let yourself get down. Keep your spirits high and your head about you. But most of all; remember that we love you.

Just got off the phone a second ago, the 453d EW squadron sends their Happy New Year wishes, and says to return home safely to get the late New Years drinking started

You know what would mean so much to me? If this was copied and given to any who wanted it. To keep and read in times of sadness, and to maybe uplift their hearts and spirit when needed. To read and know that you are loved and that God is there, and has sent his angels to watch over you.
