My best friend just called me just a few minutes ago with bad news! Her father who has Parkinson's is just now being ambulenced to the hospital after suffering a bad stroke. I told her I would put some prayers into over drive!!! (Which is the only thing I know how to do for this!) The hospital is an hour away and this moment is so critical. Please help by adding your prayers!

Hey all! I just got off the phone with my friend this morning. She said this could have been ALOT worse! But they also could have been better.

The good news is he is stable, and can speak & make sense yet his voice is muffled.

Bad news is he still can not move the left side of his body. Also there looks to be tumors in his brain.

I let her know a prayer chain has been started, and she would like you to know she is grateful.

UPDATE***

Prayers still needed.
My friends father will be coming home next week!!!applause
However, the doctors determined he did not have a stroke. Instead they found 4 large tumors in his brain. He has been diagonosed with lung cancer. The cancer in his lungs apparently spread to his brain.
He has all this and parkinson's as well.

But he is a strong man!!!
He has regained his speech!thumbs up
He can now move both legs!thumbs up
Can now walk!!!thumbs up
and making some progress with PT on his arm!thumbs up

He has received radiation for a week, and will be starting chemo-therapy next week.

He is in good spirits, and I have told him of everyone's prayers.
