What can I say kiddies except I am once again laying here wide awake when I should be off somewhere in dreamland, and they say sleeping pills are foolproof – HAH!!!

Sooooo, if any of you have any good bedtime stories you’d like to share I’ll even let you cyber-tuck me into bed ;)

It was two nights before a three day weekend and all through the house everyone was sleeping except for maybe a few. Something must be on their mind or troubling them keeping the sandman at bay. The sandman, a proud and courageous worker was concerned because he felt he must of been stingy with his sand or just spread it way too thin. So he went and got a big dump truck and filled it with lots of sand. He found his woke up friends and dumped a whole truck on each friend that he missed.

Thanks Roy nice try but it didn't quite do the trick. I guess everyone else is off slumbering, or *gulp* nobobdy loves me enough to want to read, or should I say write, me a lullaby... poor, poor me.

God I'm getty delirious with lack of sleep. Maybe I'll have to try one more sleeping pill and see if that will take any more affect, although I'd rather do it the old fashioned way and have a story. (Yes I am pouting for those of you who are wondering, full button lip stuck out in the cold night air. - Does that help to get your imagineations working?)

Dunno if you use essential oils? But germane chamomile, lavender, orange or neroli, and vetiver mixed together for aroma work wonders. Tiny bit of vetiver (it's strong and thick) - pure oils, not blended...

So are you saying use equal parts of all four oils and then mix with water and dispense over a heat source? Or combine with an oil/lotion and apply topically to the skin?

Of course I’m low on pure oils and so I only have Lavender and Sweet Orange in stock, plus a little Eucalyptus and Peppermint (don’t think those two will help me to sleep too much). I’ve never heard of Vetiver so I will try to pick some up tomorrow when I replace my Chamomile supply as well.

Thank you for this suggestion as I have these supplies at my fingertips and utilize them on my clients when practicing massage therapy but since I’ve been unable to do that for over a year or more now because of medical problems it just wasn’t at the front of my mind like it normally would have been.

Nice, you.
I just put equal parts of all but vetiver and orange onto a tissue and place it near my head. You can use a burner, or diffuser...I just use it undiluted and pure, not base. Just a few drops of each. Tiny drop of vetiver and orange (stronger, those).

Yeah, I use peppermint everyday to help pain. Eucalyptis(sp?) is one of very few viral killers...Good stuff.

Hope it helps.

Marjoram is excellent for occassional small uage. Ther canbe side unwanted irreversable effects if use to excess...
