Soooo....I know it's been ages since I've posted on here...hell, most of you here now probably have no clue as to who I am anymore!! :) But anyways, I found it fitting to maybe let those who care know what is going on!!
Dave(dvdmcm33) and I spent Christmas and New Year together, he was here for a week in Ohio and then we went back to England together for another week. What an experience!!!
I was a bit afraid that he would be bored with Ohio as it's not too exciting!! But we had a great time here, my family absolutely love him! He was a champ fishing in my pond and caught a big catfishy!! We even got matching tattoos of music notes(we've always said we were "musical soulmates"), so now we are always connected because we have the same tattoo!! :) I had such a nice Christmas and it was such a dream come true to have him here to celebrate with....it was simply the best Christmas ever!
After Christmas, we traveled to England, and it was such a great experience for me as I've always wanted to go to England, and it must be said that my expectations were waaayyyy exceded! I simply loved it there, especially the roundabouts...they are just too damn cool! It was great to meet his family and friends as they are all just the best! Dave was the best host and I was never homesick at all, he really made me feel at home and took the best care of me, he is truly a godsend!! We even ventured out to London and I must say that it is quite different from the lil towns I'm used to! I was simply fascinated and London was simply enchanting....it's truly a time that I will never forget!
We are really trying to figure things out, there is a long and winding road ahead of us, but we are meant for each other and are gonna make it work. I never thought I would be in this kind of situation, but then again, I've never been so in love and committed to someone before, we will definately prevail and be together!! I'm just such a happy girl although I miss him sooo much!!
Just wanted to fill everyone in, I know this is a long post, but I had lots to say!! :)
Well, well, well, i do beleive that its been even longer since i was on here so i would just like to say a belated happy xmas & new year to everybody :-)
As Amber has already mentioned, we spent xmas & new year together & WOW what a trully remarkable time it was to. Ambers familly made me feel just so damn welcome, i found their welcome & generosity very humbling & even overwhelming!!. I could not have expected any more from them & they helped make my xmas (my 1st away) the best xmas that i have ever had.
Amber lives in beautifull surroundings & has a great home (complete with fishing pond in her garden). She was concerned that i would be bored in her little villiage, but she should not have worried. I love the simple things in life & so long as i had Amber by my side i couldn't have cared less if we had been on the moon (even the "darker side of the moon"). I did buy Amber an "unofficial" engagement ring for xmas, & i fully intend to upgrade this to an official ring real soon, i just have to save for a ring that is worthy of Amber. I simply have to marry this girl, she is just the best thing ever to happen to me & i'm not letting her go. If i had it my way then i would move to the states tommorrow to be with her. Our path however is a long & winding one with many obsticals to cross. The official line that we have to follow is a very long & drawn out process that costs lots of "monyah" & proof. I'm sure that Amber & I now have all the evidence that we need to convince the authorities that we are the real deal. This said, we will make it guys :-).
Im so glad that Amber enjoyed her trip to England. I realy was concerned that she may find it a lttle stuffy here as the english can be a little prudish & reserved. I had a great time showing her all the sights (including The London Eye, London in general & our costal city of Brighton) & was soooo pleased that she enjoyed it all. My familly loved her & asked her many questions (thank god they didn't put her off me!) We didn't get half as many things done as i would have liked whilst over here but we still had a great time anyhow.
All in all this whole trip/experience has realy made a huge difference to our relationship & i now know that we are ment to be together. Matching tattoos solidify this as we trully are soulmates at heart & i would do ANYTHING for this beautifull soul
