In all honesty, I am ATTRACTED by looks. No sense thinking otherwise, women who are cute, pretty, gorgous, ect, catch my eye. It's what she has to say that determines how far it goes.

However, I listen to people (or read what they post here), too. I enjoy friendships with all types of people and physical appearance has little to do with who my friends are. I take people out often that I don't find attractive or have romantic interest in just because they are fun to be around.

One of the funniest people I know is a VERY unattractive woman who proudly calls her self a 'Bull Dyke'. When she gets a hair cut it's 'Getting Butched'. But she can make me laugh harder than the prettiest girl, and it's fun talking about women with her.

I can only speak for myself: I am certainly not immune to eye candy but the initial "umm nice" will not survive boorish manners, poor personal hygiene or a lack of conversation, while a ready wit, warm personality and skill on a dance floor will immediately convince me you are the most gorgeous creature on earth and I'll want to spend time with you. Yep, guess I'm shallow! I like to enjoy being with my date no matter what his physical attributes are.

I can agree to everything. A lot of times the person who says that has had something like that said to them. People should wake up and live in the real world. None of us are perfect. But I do have to agree with the guy who said that alot of women do it too. I can't tell you how many times that's happened with me. But I think you're quite a good looking woman and if I was located anywhere near you, I'd definitly ask you out.
