"War

They call it a cloud over the land.

They made the weather, and then it rains, and they stand in it and say "shit it's raining""

Renee Zellweger-Cold Mountain.
May not be an exact quote, but it's my favorite.

You treat a disease, you win, you lose. You treat a person I'll guarantee you'll win.

If you just learn a single trick, Scout, you'll get along a lot better with all kinds of folks. You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view...Until you climb inside of his skin and walk around in it.

Arresting Officer: "Sir, could I please see your license?"

Pedro: "Whuut?"

Arresting Officer: "Your license. Where's your license?"

Pedro: "It's back there on the bumper, man!"

It will be tallb and me but not on a tandem. Do you remember the end of the movie when Whithnail is seeing "I" off at the station (swigging from Monty's best bottle of claret) and he speaks lines from Hamlet:

"I have of late but wherefore I know not
Lost all my mirth [...]"

Absolutely brilliant stuff.

P.S: We hope to avoid good old Jake!

Yes, I love that part (Hamlet) not verbatim, of course, as you will know, but an adaptation. In fact, I prefer the W&I version (sorry Willie Shakespeare!).

Yes, please do avoid Jake, especially when he has eels and pheasants that have been fed from arsehole to beak!!

You did know that is not commonly known what "I"'s name is? Marwood!

Don't forget when you're on your travels, if you run out of booze, just check what's in your toolbox, eh?? You never know, you might have anti-freeze......... you'll need it over here anyway!!thumbs up

"Well, I believe in the soul. The cock, the pussy, the small of a woman's back, the hangin' curve ball, high fiber, good scotch, that the novels of Susan Sontag are self-indulgent over-rated crap. I believe Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone. I believe there oughtta be a Constitutional amendment outlawing astroturf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve, and I believe in long, slow, deep, soft, wet kisses that last three days. Good night."

Bull Durham
