I agree, my friend. I have found that some, for the most part anyway, are mature way beyond their years but, sadly, do let themselves down at some point eventually. I think I will be better sticking to my own age or older. But, you are correct, its only a number!!
sometimes u might think they let themselve down, but maybe they are just making sure that they are stepping on safe ground. which is different

Sorry, I don't see the connection. If you lose out because of it, you have let yourself down, not checking its "safe ground", whatever that may be?? Do you have experience of an older woman then?? Is that why, you are speaking from past knowledge??dunno wave kiss

Hey now!!! Age is just a frame of mind. If you get along well and enjoy each others company....why not??? Life is to short to pass up a good thing. Can't let something like age ruin it for you both.

Why not???

I am 28 and a 38 man would be nice to protect me and take care of me. Men on that age knows what they really want from life and they are not playing games...so, why not?...I could date a 10 years older man...i could do it, yes i could.batting eyelashes batting eyelashes batting eyelashes

I have always said that age is a state of mind more so than a matter of time. And yes, if the age difference was the only "issue" 10 years would be ok (in the past I dated one man 11 years older). I would just have to draw the line where it gets to the point where my significant other was in the same generation as my kids. That would be creepy, not just for me, but my kids would be cringing LOL

I was married to a man 15 years younger than me. Over the years, I grew up -- he didn't. But we had some really wonderful times together. I like younger men; but I also like older men. Age is an attitude, not a sentence. One guy on this site said he only dated younger women because older women had no sex drive. I about died laughing! Talk about stereotyping! Older women are generally self-confident and secure in who they are. We've been through the fire and came out again with backbones of steel. We're interesting to talk to and can actually pick up the check without feeling unfeminine.
