We have a low pressure system about at the moment.....a deep monsoonal trough.... deep heavy clouds,it's as humid as...the air is so thick it is like wading through mud...no wind...no waves...there is anticipation in the air...hopefully a storm, and not a cyclone brewing.......love it...summer, in all it's shades....

It's beautiful here right now.

It's about 1:00 am here at the time I'm posting this.

The temp is about 12F or -11C.

I just came in from chopping firewood for in the woodstove.

It's beautiful outside. Too overcast to see the stars but a nearly full moon is peaking through a beautiful veil of lacy clouds even while large fluffy snowflakes flutter to the ground.

The fresh snow is about a half a foot deep. A little while ago I drove out to the store and bought a pizza. The roads are completely covered with virgin snow. I didn’t see another car in the whole 8 mile round trip. Even the pizza parlor was like a ghost town.

It's Beautiful. I love it when there's no one around. yay

I don't understand it. But for some reason it just doesn't feel cold to me. I even took my coat off whilst I was chopping the logs.

But I know it's bitter cold out there because my gloves were instantly sticking to everything I touched that is made of metal. grin

Absolutely!

I'm a hermit, but I'm not THAT big of a hermit.

I would love to have my own little Ms. Hermit to hug. hug

I'm sitting inside the cottage right now with a crackling fire and it's real cozy in here.

But no one to cuddle up with. blues

Lightly snowing here, again. As much as I love the winter, I am getting a bit tired of seeing nothing but white!
