When stress hits, which way do you run?

Do you run to others, like family and friends, for love and support?
Do you depend on others to help you through it?

Or:

Do do you run from everyone and everything? Do you find your peace through solitude?

I am the type thats runs from everyone and everything. I find my peace eventually on my own. When friends and relatives try to help me through tough times I feel more smothered than anything.moping

I try to find my own peace, and hopefully not put my gun to my head. Try to rough things out and fling outself out on chance for things that will benefit me. It always works.

I do not like interacting with others when I am stressed,

I prefer to isolate myself, and sort it out.

I would have to say that I run to a place in my mind to try and figure out what is causing the stress and what can I do to fix it.
Most of the time I need to do something extremley physical to let the stress burn up in me so that I have spent the negative energy and all that is left is the healing.

I prefer solitude, pet my cat or go for a long drive to anywhere, as long as I am by myself for awhile I usually sort it all out.cool

I usually seek solitude but occasionally will seek a friend or family member for support.

I'll usually lay down and take a nap first.

Then when I get up I deal with it directly.

Not much causes me stress anymore.

In fact, I don't think I've been bother by stress for at least the past 10 years or so.

My friends have told me that I'm the most carefree person they ever met.

All of my students have commented on my infinite patience.

Every girlfriend I ever had told me that I'm the easiest to be with.

Even my cat is so relaxed around me I have to push him out of the way when using power tools.

Stress? That's something I only calculate when doing engineering anymore.

Stress really is a self-generated emotion.

I am one to totally process and filter everything for myself then determine if I need to lean on someone objective that will not just BS me and tell me what I need to hear and not just what I want to hear. telling someone that everything is going to be fine is not always the healthiest thing to do
