Family dies trying to keep house warm....these people are going to need a lot of prayers..

I read this on Yahoo news, very sad;

BARDSTOWN, Ky. - Fast-moving flames trapped a dozen people inside a burning house early Tuesday, killing 10 — six of them children — and leaving the only survivors hospitalized, authorities said

Most of the victims were dead by the time firefighters reached them, Nelson County Coroner Field Houghlin said. Neighbors said the two survivors had be held from running back into the flames for the screaming children.

"It may have been an explosion in the center of the house. The fire flashed very quickly," said Bardstown Fire Department spokesman Tom Isaac.

Two of the children were found dead under the bodies of adults inside the charred one-story brick home, said Emergency Medical Services director Joe Prewitt.

They were saying that its hard enough to prepare for one persons funeral, they are so stricken with greif, that they don't know which way to turn.......I know I couldn't imagine, although I would have thrown my kids out the window, no matter how cold it is.

We like to think we would at any cost save our children, and most would, given the opportunity...and by the sounds of it two adults died trying, smoke inhalation is usually the big kille, not the flames...one can only do what they can do, in the circumstances they find themselves in...hindsight can destroy a person...in this situation..
