Maybe deep inside you are kinda ready for a change but are afraid it might change who you are right along with it? dunno The only way you'll know is to go for it! Get a new "do" some sexy jeans and tops, whatever...should you decide you don't like any of it...hair grows out and you can give the clothes to someone else!peace
Addendum: Do not get me wrong! I think you are adorable in that outfit you have on now! Not to mention a really cool person! I'm all for "be yourself..don't change for anyone" I just couldn't tell if there was a little incling for a bit of a change coming out of your question as well.grin definitely my .02 worthwine

Why change the way you are? If you're happy the way you are, then stay the way you are, it's what you do that defines you q=o)

If you are happy with yourself then keep the look. You have to be you, don't change for anyone!wave

Smells like Nag Champpa around herelaugh
This is for you Rachel.

A woman came up to me and said
Id like to poison your mind
With wrong ideas that appeal to you
Though I am not unkind
She looked at me, I looked at something
Written across her scalp
And these are the words that it faintly said
As I tried to call for help:

Theres only one thing that I know how to do well
And Ive often been told that you only can do
What you know how to do well
And thats be you,
Be what youre like,
Be like yourself,
And so Im having a wonderful time
But Id rather be whistling in the dark
Whistling in the dark
Whistling in the dark
Whistling in the dark
Whistling in the dark
Whistling in the dark
Theres only one thing that I like
And that is whistling in the dark

A man came up to me and said
Id like to change your mind
By hitting it with a rock, he said,
Though I am not unkind.
We laughed at his little joke
And then I happily walked away
And hit my head on the wall of the jail
Where the two of us live today.

Theres only one thing that I know how to do well
And Ive often been told that you only can do
What you know how to do well
And thats be you,
Be what youre like,
Be like yourself,
And so Im having a wonderful time
But Id rather be whistling in the dark
Whistling in the dark
Whistling in the dark
Whistling in the dark
Whistling in the dark
Whistling in the dark
Theres only one thing that I like
And that is whistling in the dark

Theres only one thing that I know how to do well
And Ive often been told that you only can do
What you know how to do well
And thats be you,
Be what youre like,
Be like yourself,
And so Im having a wonderful time
But Id rather be whistling in the dark
Whistling in the dark
Whistling in the dark
Whistling in the dark
Whistling in the dark

NEVER change who you are,and I would bet that your hippy self is somewhat like that of a gypsy, and thats always warming to the soul, and your views and how you see the things around you are touched in more ways then some know.

You are who you are,and people are going to like you and some are not,and thats okay,my motto, the less people who like me the better,it means the ones that do are true blue, and that I have quality time to give.

Stay hip chic.....laugh

Every choice in life has good and bad results. If the results you are getting is what makes you happy then why change.

If a man loves you because of how you dress then does he love you.

People fall in love with all types because of the person inside not the style. Do what makes you happy with the results.

If you're happy as you are why change.
Don't go changing to please other people because that won't make you happy. wave wave

you'll still be a hippy inside, so why hide it?

You have had lots of input from others saying to be who you are, be yourself, etc. Never live to please others. Be confident of who you are and never let anyone put you in the box of NORMAL. Hippy look is so cool. I am 52 and my wardrobe is full of the Hippy look, cos it's just me! I am so glad it came back in style. Makes me feel 14 again! Stay COOL peace
