I don't really know where it came from. I was just fine yesterday and then people started talking about their relationships and how happy they were. I was genuinely happy for them but I suddenly became so very lonely. I didn't even want to sleep in my empty bed last night. I curled up on a chair. This morning isn't any better. I am fine with being single. I usually even relish it but right now my heart hurts.......

What makes you feel better in times like these? What do you do? I usually go shoe shopping but that even feels like a chore today. Is 9:30am too early to open wine??
OK, I know I'm one of those people you just want to slap right now, I feel like slapping myself, but all I can say is that when the time is right for love, you'll know it. In the meantime, enjoy your own company, make your own fun, love your own self.

rolling on the floor laughing I am a boot person. Gotta be special ones. My favorite birthday present was 3 pairs of boots from the Wild Pair, one black, one red and one white.......wore them right OUT! Only shoes I get into are basketball shoes. Old Jordan's especially....So comfie....peace

You had said something about being too hard headed. I don't think so, being alone isn't fun (I know, been alone a long time) but being together with someone when its already doesn't feel right....is often worse. You are correct (my opinion) to watch and chose. After all, it is your life. Cannot believe you will be alone forever.

When I was 14...one of my many foster mothers decided to give all of her "kids" a song that best fit them. She chose that one for me. Never knew if she was calling me strong or saying I was the devil.
