I agree ...two wholes co-existing in truth and beauty...because they choose to not because they need to.

i think the intent of the "two halves" part...was to show that love is good regardless...but that it's reeeaaally special when you are whole, and not just a half.

I agree conquering the loneliness in oneself must be done first. But I don't believe that I am ever completely whole or a finished work as a person.

I am always changing and learning to become the person that I am at this moment in time.

So in that sense, am I really ever a whole person ready to give to someone else? I'll settle for 90% whole and hope for a rewarding life, while I discover that missing pieces.

So in that sense, am I really ever a whole person ready to give to someone else? I'll settle for 90% whole and hope for a rewarding life, while I discover that missing pieces.

I'd even go so far as to suggest that conquering the lonliness in one's self first is a prerequesite to moving toward being whole as a person. That's been my experience, anyway.
