you cry when you born and you cry when you die..i guess the beginning and the final share same positions..they should be equal..but there are some people are not cry before dying..they believe that their lifes will end with the feeling of peace..

hope everyone feels this peace before they die..

In an episode of NYPD blue once (bear with this) they went into an apartment where someone was sat in a chair where he had shot himself in the head. The dialogue went something like this,

Det 1 "Why do they always sit down to do it?"
Det 2 "Maybe falling down is the scary part"

Not sure why but I felt this was relevant somehow.

Just my 2 cents anyway

Is it the fear of pain, or the fear of what they will miss? Or just the fear of the unknown?
I think it is because they will miss their loved ones...dunno

Another perspective: Could the crying/tears be not of sadness, but tears of joy? An overwhelming emotional physical response from the spirit, knowing that they are finally coming home?

I've often read stories about NDEs (Near-Death Experiences) that often proclaim this.

Is it possible? confused

Not everybody cries before they die. A lot of people are in comas. Others die instantly in accidents, etc.

Where did you get the idea that people cry before they die??

I suppose if they are conscious and death is imminent they cry because they want to live and know they won't be.

My grandma passed away yesterday. She was in a coma the last few days, but as she passed I saw one tear roll down her cheek. I have been trying to research it because I wanted to see if it was normal for that to happen. I didn't know if it was because she was sad that she was leaving us, in pain as she passed, saw something so beautiful that it made her tear, or if it was just some bodily secretion. Unfortunately, I haven't found anything on it yet.

I guess it depends on the way you are dying, if you are aware or not, but I was always told that someone dying has a look of peace on their face before the moment of passing. Otherwise, if the person were suffering from an injury or some other sort, I would have to believe the pain is intense or maybe even from a medical standpoint the hormonal aspect of it...everything getting ready to shut down and causing a basic bodily function and emotion to emerge.

I watched my two Grandmothers pass over....I watched My Mother pass over and I watched My Father pass over and I dont recall seeing any one of them crying before they went.

Leaving this world the person takes on many changes if they have been ill and in pain and from what I observed it goes a bit like this...

Anger......Denial..........and then acceptance.....

If any of you have witnessed this in a loved one then you will know what I mean....

It is us that is left behind to cry.....angel
