in terms of what I know that's "current" I like Placebo very much and have not heard a rhythm guitarist so front since Pete Townsend, who Placebo reminds me of quite a bit.

Cannot leave Nekromantix unmentioned. They so rock. Goulia is one of my all time favorite songs.

Is Garbage "current?" Those babes know where it lives too.
