FYI

Just a heads up that we will be installing some changes to the forum within the next few hours. The look will be slightly different from what you are used to here, and there will also be a few minor changes. Other changes will come later.

Most of the changes will be obvious to you. Mostly you'll need to notice that the forums navigation has been moved to the top left sidebar.

Getting used to changes is hard to do sometimes but we hope you'll give this time and a good try, and think you'll see it as an improvement after you use it for awhile.

Bear with us while we iron out any bugs. Contact Us if you find any.

If it is of any encouragement to you, the members that I talk to and the few that I have introduced, all without exception, consider CS to be one of the best formats in the business.

This includes disgruntled ex members. Apropos of which, Peeps, with accusations of sycophancy, will be given two fingers and shown the door.

I like the changes too. One thing I'd like to see added is a way to erase or delete a post of your own. Like when you double post by accident or forget to add the intended quote. Or you just regret a post.

No this way you have to think before you write. Think about the consequences of what your words are going to say.
If they make it possible to erase a post then people will post an argumentative post then erase it later and leave the thread not making sense. And those that didn't post would be scratching their heads wondering what the fuss was about.

As for double posting don't worry about it. Most of us have done it at one time or another.

I like it! I like it alot!! But over in the Canada Forums, the colours are throwing me off.

Can someone explain please?

I thought the pink/red was for the ladies and blue for the gentlemen, but that doesn't seem to be the case, or I'm just daft!!

Thanks for all your hard work! This is, by far, the best site I have been on where the price is so right!! cheers

Erase, or edit. I hate when I mis-spell or use the wrong word and would like to be able to go back and fix them.

But otherwise, good job!

You asked that we let you know if something isn't working correctly. I tried to do a thread search "Setting the Record Straight" posted by the moderator and it came up with nothing.

The only way I could find the thread was by clicking on the original poster of this thread and clicking on "forum posts" in the ConnectingSingles profile.
