Thanks all :) it was getting to a point where I was getting totally frustrated with the anti-man theme being displayed! A couple of days ago I saw a thread saying how men with a muscular build were thick with anger-management problems!! I have a reasonable education and would find it extremely hard to physicaly hurt someone... I just enjoy going to the gym!

It's time we looked for the beauty in all of us instead of the negative! is any wonder that many people choose to isolate and stay single? I'm not a pigeon and choose not to be placed into a hole!

I saw that same thread. What a bunch of crap. Nothing wrong with hittin' the gym, my friend!!

I can see why people would want to stay single, it's like being judged in a beauty contest sometimes, it seems. You're a pretty cool dude from what I've seen. Don't let the negative people bother ya!!cheers

Hey there Pete!
A very non-sexy (LOL) reply here, but the only reason I haven´t been flooding your mailbox is that I got the distinct impression you were already spoken for... But I guess that just proves I am crap at impressions! Apart from that, keep posting your cool thoughts, they are a solace in a sea of stooopid.

It seems to be a daily diet on CS, of threads containing the above assumptions of what us men are about! Why?

If we really are that shallow, why do you still seek us?

I have met many women who are after money and a big house, who yearn to meet a famous, rich man or just want a fit, athletic guy so as to tickle their ego and look good on the street! But I, and many others, do not tar all women with the same brush!

Many scream about wanting equality and yet write such threads and then have the cheek to moan that they are unable to find a man!!!

My search for love is just that... LOVE! dress-size, wealth and beauty are not on my list!

P.S. Any non-sexist females matching my desires, please mail me!!
But, did you know for certain they only wanted a fit guy so they looked good walking down street with him, or did you just assume this?

I mean, in my profile it say's I prefer younger fit types, but it's not because I want to look good walking down street with them, it's because a lot of guys when they get to middle age really let themselves go, no pride in their appearance and look like slobs and that just doesn't float my boat or turn me on or however it's described. As for the wealth and big house, nah that doesnt interest me as I'm spiritual not materialistic, nor would I want to meet a famous rich man as I'd be pubicity shy. blushing

No matter how we look at it. If we aren't happy with the physical appearance of our partner, It will not be a long partnership.

And a partnership based on physical attraction alone will be even shorter.

A long term to permanent relationship needs to be on all levels. Physical, emotional, and mental. If not you will be always asking yourself questions and wondering.
It is hard and you just can't settle. If you find someone that is just missing one quality and you settle. Well you will be disappointed in yourself in the long run and jealous of others, who in your eyes have the perfect partner.

In answer to the ops question:

Perhaps these women have been hurt.

There are some men and women who are users...make promises...play the game

For their own ego

you talk of love and that is what you seek.......then when you have a chance at it....you easily throw it all away.....think back...a few months...someone offered you that...opened her heart...her home...her life because that is what you asked.

You and I both know what I am saying.

And no folks it wasnt me

Two months ago, the day before I was due to bury my mother and obviously an emotional wreck, I read a guys post stating his fingers smelt of Lee's virgina... i failed to see the comical side... she did... we argued about it.... split up! and my god I have been hounded by you guys ever since!

Accept it! She is a lovely girl but just not for me... most people on this site has had failed relationships behind them, me included and often it's a common reason... it just doesn't work out!!

I don't expect to be virtually stalked by her friends and have my name blackened behind scenes, accusations including false profiles, girls stashed away all over CS/The World and that I'm some sort of serial-Spider!! and now the fact I have been compelled to write an open post, to defend my actions is just crap!!

I come to CS to have fun, join in topics and maybe meet the the girl who's right for me!

Now please go enjoy your lives, have fun and may you all find happiness, I would just rather you did it without me! D'oh!
