everytime i try to go to the club the ppl i was going with decide last min to do something else that doesnt include me...now i get to go look for a book....or plot ways to get rid of my lil sisters bf

and i get to deal with the youngest ones most of the time ans that would be a 4month old , a 5 month old, a 8 month old, a 14 month old and a 21 month old ....praise the gods for nap time and advil

Just got in from playing golf after work, watched the last few innings of the astros game--we won in the 9th with a walk off HR. No boredom here!!

Just joined last night and met a few interesting people already. They've kept me entertained for a few hours this evening. It's nice how this forum and the people on it aren't all necessarily about trying to jump into one another's pants. Lots of resources can be had, from meeting people here. For example teachers and tutors. Or learning about someone else's culture. There is a fine mix of people from all over the world. And everyone for the most part seems to be very upbeat.

On another note I'm just killing time between here, the gym, and the crazy loop i keep running around in the neighborhood until I can sign my papers with the military and take off working towards a new career (roughly 2-4 weeks away). Was time to take a few eggs out of the technology basket and learn something new. Don't want to get caught up in a job market with another couple thousand IBM employees being layed off and scooping up all the great positions while dropping entry level workers salaries. We don't stand a chance and I don't have the pedigree (ivy league education) or work history to compete with them at my level at least at this point in time. So off i go to get money from the military to step my education up another level, to travel the world, and learn some new skills... Plus get stationed somewhere I haven't lived yet!

So I suppose I understand the boring, pathetic Friday night but on the other hand I'm quite content with where i'm at and what im doing at this point in time :)
