Well

I was shot at 6 times in the line of Duty, I have had people try to run me over, Stab me, spit on me, called every name you can think of then some.
I have had gang bangers try to set me up to shoot me during traffic stops.
Have been in so many fights with people involving weapons the run together and I cannot be specific other than I am here.
On a lighter note, I have delivered several babies, and married two drunks once .

I was in a car accident when I was little. The neighbor ran right over me with his truck. The right side of my face from my ear to my nose was ripped off, my pelvis crushed, and my rib cage on the left caved in. My mother pulled me out from under the truck, she said that I was covered in blood and just staring at her, she didn't know if I was alive or dead. They rushed me to the hospital. They told my mom I wouldn't walk or have children. I can walk and I have kids. Gotta love it when the docs are wrong. My family said I shouldn't be alive, my gran used to say that God had a plan for me. I think I just got lucky!

I have had some near misses, but nothing more than a car accident had really occured! Nothing compared to some of the others!!

Having to abseil alomst halfway down a 300' climb in a thunderstorm from a very dogdy anchor. I remember thinking if it goes now i'm dead, then if it goes now, broken back, then nearly there but still broken legs, then i've made it. I had a few drinks that night for sure.
I did get ambushed in North West Pakistan one time though, that was quite an unsellting experience, couldnt go to the pub after that though.

I was in a car on the way home from a party in the back seat when the driver suddenly passed out we were going at 110 miles a hour the car spun out flipping three times in the air and crashed killing the driver and other guy in the front seat--I got lucky since when it first flipped I went through the front window shield hitting a pole with my shoulder that sent me sailing off the road into a field.

My family was camping at Loon Lake and everyone was swimming...
A very little kid was going under and his arms were thrashing about...those eyes said it all....
I wasn't that good of a swimmer, (I had some lessons) but I helped him. The kids Mom, thanked me.
I haven't thought of that in a long time, til now......
