I see nothing wrong with you but you might try some photos that show a closer up of your face and smiling, along with this photo you have. Plus dont give up I have had that same problem in the beginning too. Good Luck !!

Also, the women you are sending the emails to ... what do their profiles say they are looking for? If they aren't looking for what they find in your profile or your email, that may be a reason why you aren't getting any responses.

The thing is, I am 26 and I really never been on a date before. I have asked girls out before but I usually got put down or I asked the wrong girls. They would have boyfriends already. Just seems like I have a hard time with girls.

Maybe you are picking the wrong girls. People talk about all people being equal, but not all people believe that. If you are only emailing 120lb girls, you will probably not going to get very many responses. Unfortunately we are programed to think that thin is beautiful and big is not. I think that you are an attractive man, but remind me of my brother. Don't give up on what you truly want. I have been single for about four years, because I refuse to settle. Be real and go after what will make you happy.

I'm with you on that one. That is how I feel also. I have been living on my own for 5-6 years now. The place I live at, they don't allow pets so it makes it harder for me at times.

And "Hi" to everyone else out there! My name's Inky! I'm loving the forums on this site & really enjoy reading all the threads. I haven't really posted anything till now, but I thought I'd throw in my two cents...

I've been on the site over a year now & haven't made a 'love-connection' yet (like "dragondog," I'm actually not too sure if I'm really ready for it), but I've been really lucky to make some great friends on CS. I don't always get replies to emails either, so you're not alone! It happens to everyone so try not to sweat it too much.

The thing is, you gotta start loving you!! If someone constantly believes they're never gonna find someone, s/he will probably find a way to (subconsciously) make sure they don't. Dwelling on the fact that you're alone is a good way to make sure you stay that way! I know it can be tough sometimes, but my advice is to try to change your thinking a little... Get rid of all the negative thoughts that can sabotage your 'love-fest.' Make a conscious effort to love yourself and all the awesome things about you. Appreciate the person you are, the life that you have, and all the people in it!! Instead of focusing on the fact that you haven't found your soul-mate yet, imagine that your princess is already on her way! I could be wrong, but, what the heck, it's worth a shot, right?!

Anywho, I took a peek-er-roo at your profile and I agree with "mylifewithu" I don't see anything wrong with it. I'd take her suggestion and post a great facial-shot of you flashing a killer smile! If there are any other femmes like me out there, then some pearly whites will catch their attention, every time! :D

Teddybear, I would take a positive approach as does Inkysmiles and soon that vibe will radiate outwards. Smile lots and think big, then the good will come....
