Funny, you don't find many people saying they're older than they are! Pretty pointless lying about your age, you'll always end up looking foolish! Anyway, it's just a number! You're only as young as you feel!

I think what's the point we are who we are.

Although people who forget a year here and there isn't too much of a big deal, it's when they skip 10 or 20 years there's a problem.

Also on the other hand I think if you start of lying about the small things, well who knows what else is undercover.

My dad used to lie about his age.......... when he was in his middle 50's (not much older than I am now) he used to tell strangers that he was 76 years old.

'Gosh! people used to exclaim..'you don't look much older than some guy in his 50's!'

My dad used to smile knowingly, and tell them he went to Switzerland every six months for injections made from monkey glands.

Most people seemed to believe him!

I believe the "body type" is the biggest abused thinng on these sights. "fit" "a few pounds over"

and what please describe is Average???
average for who your family tree??....
How about "fit and toned"? What that seems to mean is that you're fifty pounds overweight, but you don't jiggle hugely when you walk?

The weight issue is probably the main taboo topic on this list. Women and men who are grossly overweight are routinely given reassuring virtual hugs and words from other members (I'm thinking of another thread going on right now), while no one seems to have the courage to be honest and state the obvious: almost all men and women find people in decent physical shape more attractive. Check out the thread now considering the most attractive celebrities. You won't find Rosie O'Donnell there.

The irony is that for most of us weight and conditioning, as opposed to our genetically determined looks, is susceptible to our own will. I weighed 225 at one point this winter, and looked like shit. Now I weigh 180 (after some mild changes in diet and exercise over 6 months), and look 100% better, for whatever that's worth.

There are so many people here that with just a few changes of lifestyle would be so much more attractive and healthy.

Now, since this is taboo, I await the flames....
