I used to be an active member of friend finder. Having attended several meetings, it's great to meet everyone and show photos of a fun-fest.

Yes, I'd like to see a "friends" page, but I'd like to hear from other members about just how definitive it should be. Counting my blessings so far, there have been more 'nice' responders than not. When a writer expresses interest and then doesn't want e-mail/penpal-ing contact, it bothers me just a little, but I do understand, I suppose. My reasoning for joining the connecting singles was for friends across the miles, as well as the possibility of finding a personal companion; (hope springs eternal). This entire prospect appears sluggish in developing, and I fully admit I am not willingly patient! (working on it). Also I've noticed that some folks are skeptical of one another and I find that depressing--this is supposed to be a good, fun, positive endeavor for all of us.
