What would you have us do, the laws are quite strict on drinking and driving. And the penalties are even tougher.

Should society be protected from itself in everything?

Do we need to outlaw twinkies, ice cream, cigarettes, guns, cars etc. ?


It is true that laws do not prevent people from bad choices, but doesn't that make the argument against Marijuana moot?

We need to abolish automobiles, that`s the only way to stop DUI offenders. Twinkies, well that`s another story.

Tobacco products kill more than drunks and natural disease combined. Why don't mothers get on big Tobacco companies??? Could it be that a good majority of them suck on the cancer sticks themselves??confused

Mystic must smokemumbling more that cigs not understanding my rationale. My point is that smoking kills bout ten times as many people as drunk driving and natural disease. Why don't concerned mothers do something bout the tobacco companies that snag their children to a life time of addiction and subsequent shitty health and in many cases death? Get itdunno ??? There is no argument!!! And if you have one, I will try not to laugh my ass off as you present itD'oh!

No, this thread wasn't about Mothers Against Drunks, I just put MADD on the title as a pun to the argument... A pun or whatever some other smart a@# wants to call it...
