All I will say about the whole situation here is that Religion has nothing to do with all the wars going on. The problem is greed and ignorance. Some people like George Bush are stuck on themselves and only think about what they want and could care less about the innocent ones in all of this.

Religion... Whether you believe or not is of no issue.
It is about values and or value.

History or the most noted history (beyond the Bible)
Has always been surrounded by religion
The knights templar.
Crusades.
Inquisitions
Americas Birth
Englands movement

any and all wars have in them a statement about the enemy trying to take away freedom and/or religious belief.

Even though it has to do more with money and oil the middle east situation we face now is being stated as founded on religious belief.

Religion is the most powerful thing on the planet... If it were not... why would the groups such as athiest work so hard to disprove its validity.

Even without the Knowledge of THE WRITTEN WORD the Indians in this country believed in a great spirit above all other spirits they respected.

In the rainforest the believed in a power of nature (mother nature figure) as supreme and needed thanks and respect.This before any missionaries came in to force a new belief.

Aztecs in thier infinite wisdom of the time and space they had believed in the Sun God as most powerful.
Even without Christianity in the world thier would always be a belief of something greater.
And this greater being would always command respect to its wonder and for each other.

I find it so funny to see people who speak on religion as it where all love, But then say if you don't believe what our religion says you must certainly die... Where's the love.

As an idividual i would say seek that in which your heart would lead you... Even if it is little green men from mars, As long as you practice respect,and patience with a love for all, as you have for yourself

then even then you are traveling down the right road you may or may not have life after death, But who says God...Ala... Is the only way.... It is written God is known by many names and many forms so who should disclaim your belief in green men It should be ...Yes I know who you speak of i call him (in my case God) By whatever name you know.
