Sometimes in life
Things happen for a reason
We struggle to make sense
Grasping, clinging, hoping
For something we can rationalize
Something tangible
Tragedy strikes
Like the chime of the clock
Bringing with it an air
Of unforetold doom and destruction
The chiming of the clock
Deep inside my soul
Is a droning, empty chime
It brings no forwarning
No sense of impending doom
No reason, no purpose, no repose
This chime only brings pain.
Empty, meaningless, unabandoned
Pain
for which there is no repreive
No forgiveness
No mercy
Only confusion
Only pain
Only disappointment
Only despair.

This probably makes no sense..this is something I just wrote in the last few minutes..from the emotions I feel. Good night to all. Thank you.
