With my experience in relationships, Women do want nice guys. Although, I have noticed in other people's relationships, A man who treats a woman badly will almost always have that girl. This is because some women think that they can't do any better. Ladies I am a really good man, and do yourself a favor, do better, be with me.

yes... ur correct, i think on the whole women do want "nice" guys, though thats subjective, yeah? ... but, yes, there are those who remain with fellas that appear to treat them badly and this is indicative of subconsciously feeling they cant do better... they need to possibly re-assess there feelings of self-worth/self-esteem...?

Here's my best guess as of today:)

People tend to be superficially attracted to anything they deem exotic. Exotic being above average; personality or appearance that almost a cartoon level of exoticism beyond an average person.

Woman are often attracted to danger, roughness, intrigue, dashing appearances, the 'james bond' or 'james dean' type thing. They might know in their heart that it wouldn't work long term, but their eyes and loins gravitate towards the most "alpha" of the alpha males by instinct. And in the wild, we know that the alpha rises to the top by being brutal, and strong.

Men, in contrast, are often attracted to pliability. The chance to spread their seed is greatest when a woman is pliable, inviting, and overtly sexual.

So, naturally, sensuous, sexual woman, who have a tendency to be pliable, will be 'taken' by super alphas who exhibit 'strong' exotic appearances, who are louder than the rest of the pack, and who are...well, sometimes jerks:)

Naturally they want nice guys when they think about it. The problem starts when feelings take over from thinking. They all want to swept off their feet and nice guys dont do that.

I am confused Why cant you be swept off your feet by a nice guy?

I have seen personaly my mother getting abused by her ex husband and I sure as hell will NEVER EVER go through the same bullshit. A man better think twice than to disrespect me and my children or he will be on sorry SOB I can promise you that!

So yea I prefer a nice guy but not too nice. I have dated men who were just too nice and it drove me absolutly nuts! So a bit of badness in a man (in a harmless way of course) is okay. Well for me personaly anyway! So you can say I like a "manly man" so to speak.

Nice guys are nice because they are relatively simple - in the sense of what you see is what you get. They dont play love politics or love games. They dont invest in shady techniques or build false images to get the ladies interested. They offer themselves as is with one intention - to find a lifelong partner and then to love her and care for her and share with her for the rest of their lives.

Yes boring stuff compared to what the Hollywood dream offers but this is more real. These guys are also men and passion comes naturally to men so a previous poster complaining about this subject defnitely did not get herself involved with a real nice guy.

Entirely what you have said is "sweep me off my feet" material and I am sure there are other women like me - perhaps it is an age thing? When we as women mature and realise the important things that are needed in a relationship?
