Basically, any relationship upon this earth must start and continue under the oath of RESPECT, if any party did not respect the other one … then… simply there is No such relationship !!

I agree. I actually was living with someone at the time and he wanted to go round and sort out my friends husband for beating my friend up as her husband had hit her so hard on the head he'd fractured his hand. I stupidly told my friend that my boyfriend at the time would go see her hubby if she wanted but she ended up staying with her husband and I never heard from her again and we'd been best friends for 15 years. But, that's up to her if she wants to spend rest of her life with someone like that. I stay out of it now.

I've known a few gals and guys like that as well. I really cant comprehend such a thing. A friend of mine and I left a bar one night to see a guy slapping a woman around in the parking lot and took it into ourselves to proceed in issueing a proper beat down on this guy only to have the lady come at us with a tire iron, though he had really made a mess out of her face, she then called the cops and we hightailed it out of there. We felt great afterwards, kinda therapudic in a sence.

Yes, similar thing happened to me when I was in Wales in january this year. A guy was beating his girlfriend up in the hotel carpark and one of the coach drivers saw it and went to intervene and they both turned on him and beat him up instead. I'll never understand it, in fact I give up trying to understand it. It must be the way some people choose to run their relationships. All I know is no partner has ever hit me and if they ever did it would be first and last time as I'd dump them and also have them charged with assault.

Anyone know someone whos really two faced? my ex used to yell at me, curse at me (which is why I broke up with him. I dont stand for such disrespect)
but with all his female friends he was this quiet, sweet guy who would say things like "im not very attractive at all i'm disgusting" and they would all feel bad for him because he thought this way about himself and they would reassure him.

TheWorld is full of them..males and females...however on this ocassion I will say I have seen a lot more men in that scenario than women.

Yeah I hear they really like women and child beaters in the jail houses. I could never raise a hand on a soul unless they were threatning my life or someone close to me.

Breath a sigh of relief. That was an insecure guy who felt rather insecure and intimidated by your personality. The only way to fight his sense of inadequacy was to try and bring you down to his percieved size. He suffered from the small P**** Syndrome.

I married one of those .... he was just SO sweet, humble and kind.... and his ex-wife was this terrible bitch who spent most of her time locking herself away in tiny cupboards before being delivered to the psychiatric ward.

A few years down the line.... I became the terrible bitch too, and he was still the sweet humble kind fellow that everyone felt sorry for.... Only I didn`t lock myself away or have a nervous breakdown ... Probably because he was the third one, of a diabolical deviation that I seem to get involved with, so I just took this in my stride, and recovered from this weird betrayal

It does knock one sideways, and makes one a bit more wary in life.. and it seems unbelievable that there are actually people out there who get their kicks out this type of behaviour. I believe they are called Sociopaths?
