would you like to hear my definition of love?
More than anything in the whole world, Ron!

"It's kind of like:

Gonna grab my baby gonna hold her tight
Gonna grab some afternoon delight
Cause my motto's always been when it's right, it's right
Why wait until the middle of a cold dark night...."

It's way too easy to be infatuated with someone and mistake that for love. Infatuation usually happens when you've been lonely for some tiem and you're just itching to be with someone. To me, it happens when you put the cart before the horse and try to rush something. Real love takes time. Love, itself, is obviously undefinable as it means different things to different people. It's just one of those things you "know". To me, love is when you're more concerned about another's well being than your own...among other things.

"when you've been lonely for some tiem and you're just itching to be with someone."

So true! Thats why I decided to live a life like Great Garbo. Stay home, leave the house with scarf and sunnis donned on.

Being at CS, is playing with fire ... blushing I know... and I regret it every night. Then after brushing teeth I chasten myself with the naughty machine. uh oh!

Terrible, putting those images in my head, and I don't even have a proper naughty machine to punish myself.... blushing

Ok what is love?

From 1 Corinthians13

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Love never fails

Love is outflowing concern for others, love is putting the needs of others before the needs of oneself. Love is a way of life that is giving, sharing and cooperating to achieve peace and harmony between people.

I have the choice before me to decide who I will love and who will not receive my love.

One of the saddest dynamics of a personality, the changing of romantic to cynic... but, alas, I will soon have my own electric blanket and favorite show, I think, a romantic gets burned too many times to stay that way forever.sigh
