I think about having a "significant other" mostly in fall and winter.

It just makes sitting under the blanket watching the snow fall or the TV seem so much more relaxing. Sharing the morning chill in the house when getting out of bed or waking up.

Sometimes I think its the best of seasons to start a new relationship,
With all the gatherings and holidays of the season that can be shared,
Sharing of the isolation and barren feeling that winter months can bring.
Then emerging as a solid couple in the spring like flowers in the new year
Standing outside together as one enjoying the heat of the spring sun.
To blush and be prideful as others observe 2 celebrating as one in the light and heat of the spring sun.

to survive the test of natures season of winter yeah I think its a great time of year to start a new relationship.
well i ask for a woman off Santa every year. so winter i guess.rolling eyes moping leprechaun

Conversely, if you are with the wrong person - two days could be deemed an eternity...

Does it really matter for that long part of LTR?

I think each season has its advantages for shared activities, weather a nice hike in fall, a winter's drive, a walk as spring awakens life, or a nice summer swim.

Im going to weigh in for winter too. It's the season of endings and darkness, the time of the year when everyone most needs the support of a partner til new life and light comes back in the spring.

Having said that it's also the time of the year i least look to find a partner for most of the same reasons. Most ppl are at their worst around now and i'm no exception. I'm about 50/50 so far for winter and holidays single but I think each one I did experiance single has helped build me into who I am today, independant, family oriented, there for my friends.

Course even knowing that doesen't make any holiday loads of fun watching other couples enjoy each other. drinking
