He knows what he’s doing. He seemed to have done very well too. Some men are very insecure about themselves. For some, the only way they can get some kind of a boost or a sense of security, is if they turn down a woman’s offer. “Oh, she wants me. Too bad” They seem to get a high off this.
Personally, I call this, being a self centered idiot.
