I am currently dating a black man,and it has nothing to do with the size of his c***. I don't prefer 'black men',I am interested in the 'person' not his 'skin color'. I have recently lost 32 lbs. and he is not into BBW's. I have never been treated better in my life! He is the nicest,sweetest,intelligent,humorous,talented and very handsome man that I have ever dated. His best friend,whom is also black,is married to a skinny white woman, and he himself was married to a skinny white woman for 16 yrs.

I speak from experience. I have dated black men from different countries. I don't think they are all the same but they have lots of similarities, physical and sometimes cultural ( ways of thinking).

The jamaican, african american and african men i know ( friends) have 'GREAT' similarities and i'm not talking color.

Stereotypes:

Would it be stereotypical to say that 'most white/black people want to date people of their own colour' ? No, it's only natural 'most' want it that way.

I once had a gorgeous rastafarian artist boyfriend, from Barbados, but raised in London.

I was the typical paranoid white girl, always on a diet because that was how I figured it had to be.
He was always saying stuff like "have a cookie", he cooked and made some great food, but i was always leaving a lot on the plate.

FInally one day he says to me "have I ever showed you a picture of my ex-wife"? He never had. He opend his arms about as wide as he could and said "Baby her butt was about that big, eat the friggin cookies".

Here in Latin America men like chubbier women as well. I am skinny, but when I lived with my ex boyfriend he always sabotaged the diet by filling the fridge with chocolate. I wasn't fat, but I was never skinny when living with a black or latin man. Hell, it is kinda nice to just eat the damn cookie!

Although mostly I love chocolate.

I have dated men from all over the world , all colors, types, religions, nationalities, heights, weights, etc.
But what a makes a man a great lover and a best friend are simply good instincts.

Thanks gilly. I consider myself to be quite intelligent and very open minded. When people look at someone and only see the color of their skin,they are possibly missing out on a best friend or possiby the greatest love of their life. I personally have never understood that,and I come from a very racist family! My father would roll over in his grave if he knew I was with a black man. But it is my life, and my choice.

I think that is right on, however, I think we women play that one,too. SO if both sides are playing shallow games, it does make the whole game a lot less fun and/or interesting.

Probably just a lot of people are really shallow. I can be at times although that is not my style, but in a club situation it is typically all a big game anyway.

Even here, look how it works, two sentences about who you are and what you want and your photo. There is not enough information on MOST profiles to even guess if you would want to be in the same room with the person for an hour!
