my Mom takes Evista and has good results with it.....she doesn't have to wait the hour or half hour like with the others.....

Do you know how long she has been taking it?

My Dr. did not recommend Evista, he said most data is in on Fosamax.

The side effects can be very devistating if that drug does not agree with your body.

But the effects of not taking it can be bad too.

she has been on Evista for a couple years....she had taken actonel before that for a couple years.....she is 78 and has osteoporosis...sorry I don't know anything about fosamax...

If I were 70 I would be less hesitant. But by the time and if I make it to 70, I will have been on that drug for almost 20 years!
