Mines louder than yours!! sticking out tongue

Mind you the one in my bedroom makes the one downstairs look crap! Theres only 2 xboxs in the house....i used to like the splinter cell games, that and the first person shooters.....jeez i sound like a geek now, but i'm not.Now i have to watch my 18 year old houseguest blow everything up when hes not eating me out of house and home and making a pile of washing up for me.

My nephew bought bioshock and a racing one recently(project gotham), so i'm forced to watch them instead of watching movies like 300 in the tv.Now theres good old fashioned wholesum slaughtering entertainmentrolling on the floor laughing

You can find them in a barrel at Fort Farragut (under the Y in Cheydinhal) Jensine in the Imperial City will buy them off you for a lot too. (just ran in to the right past the skellies and get them)

Ermm... I'll shut up now. rolling on the floor laughing

Upon reflection, I have come to this inescapable conundrum. How much can you really learn about a person through what they post on a public forum? I, myself, am very different in a relationship than I am when replying to a nonsensical thread. In fact, I am different in a relationship then I am in most public atmospheres, esp. internet ones. I believe it was Aristotle who said "You learn more about a person in an hour of play than a lifetime of conversation." Are you learing how I react to different dificulties? Are you learning how my eyes become vacant and dead when I've lost my passion in a conversation? Are you learning that I like to laugh as much as I like to sit contentedly with someone in my arms? No, you're not. You're learning that I can spell well, and can have a sharp wit when tested. That hardly seems to be enough to base a crush on, but, maybe a picture and a quick word is all it takes. I've met one interesting person in all of my attempts at online dating, and it's starting to look bleak.... Can anyone prove to me that someone's "Pass-the-time" posts are enough to try and find more? Because, if not, I think I'll go back to a lonely lifestyle of playing music and video games......

Hi Scott,
I think you learn quite a lot about people....you learn about their thought processes and their interests and sometimes you think someone is cool and they let you down by some reactionary remark. Contrarywise you might not have noticed, really noticed someone, and they suddenly say something that inspires. Worst case, there are far more interesting entertaining and genuinely nice people here than there are idiots or obnoxious types. As someone else says in this thread...it is worth a small investment of time on the chance you might bump into that right person

I don't think anyone could PROVE it... but you don't learn anything if you don't try do you (whatever it is)

We all bumble around here because we are (supposedly) *Looking for someone* whether we find it or not is a different matter.. but it's always worth a try isn't it?
