Toast

Take one or more slices of bread and place in toaster.
Press down on little handle to lower bread into toaster.
Press on handle again as the first attempt did not work.
Check settings to make sure darkness of toast is set to desired setting.
Pour a cup of juice, coffe or tea while waiting for toast to come up.
Pour second cup of juice, coffe or tea and look at toaster with an angry face.
Listen to toaster makes strange noises as it tries to pop toast out.
See smoke come out of toaster as toast is stuck in toaster and can't pop out.
Be stupid and try to use knife or fork to remove toast from toast while it is still plugged in.
Get the shock of a lifetime.
Through toaster, with toast still inside, out the window.
Have cereal instead.
My request.......

a new toaster

I never did quite understand some of the basic British staples.

Real complex cooking.

Place bread in toaster until golden brown.
Open can of beans and place on toast.
Add cheese.

Enjoy.

Well, mix some cream with that whipped egg, add some chopped shallots, tomato, peppers, tarragon, salt and pepper and top with cheese and there you have a real breakfast....

Or place in a tart shell and call it kishe...

I could give you my cheesecake recipe! I've never had a complaint! I know you said no sweets but this cake is only for very special women, and you may not make it "just to eat" it is only for magic evenings only!!

so if you want it I will send it to you!
